The Regional and Central COMELEC Employees Multi-Purpose Cooperative (RECEMPCO) continues to uphold its mission of caring for its members by offering meaningful support in times of need. One such initiative is the Financial Assistance Program for Hospitalization, which is specifically designed to provide aid to members who have undergone hospital confinement due to illness. Recognizing the physical, emotional, and financial challenges that come with hospitalization, RECEMPCO aims to ease the burden through this one-time assistance, reinforcing the cooperative’s dedication to the holistic well-being of its members.

This financial assistance is a form of relief—not a loan—and is given without the need for repayment. It is intended to help cover a portion of a member’s hospital expenses and is subject to evaluation by the General Manager. The cooperative understands that each medical case is different, which is why applications are reviewed individually, with consideration given to the nature of the illness and the cost of hospitalization. The maximum amount that may be granted is ₱3,000, depending on the assessment of the General Manager and the supporting documents provided.

Members who wish to apply must submit complete documentation to ensure proper evaluation and timely processing of the assistance. The cooperative treats all applications with fairness, confidentiality, and compassion—reflecting the true spirit of cooperative service.

To apply for financial assistance during hospitalization, the following documents must be submitted:

  • Written request addressed to:
    Atty. Felicismo A. Embalsado, CPA
    – General Manager

  • Copy of the hospital bill

  • Copy of official receipts for payment of the hospital bill only (Note: Receipts for medicines purchased from drugstores are not accepted)

  • Medical Certificate or Medical Abstract

  • COMELEC ID of the member

  • Copy of Landbank ATM Card

Note: The amount to be granted is based on the illness and submitted hospital bills, subject to the discretion and assessment of the General Manager. The maximum assistance is ₱3,000.

Once all the requirements are complete, kindly send them via email to: hello@recempco.com for review and processing.

Through this program, RECEMPCO reaffirms its role not just as a financial institution, but as a true support system for members—ensuring that in times of illness and uncertainty, the cooperative stands ready to help.
